Baker Mayfield hooks up with Joe Mixon for 60 yards

Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon is already making some huge plays for the Sooners in the early going. He scored a touchdown from 32 yards out to give his team a 7-0 lead and then he made a huge play on the next drive.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield escaped pressure and found Mixon down the field. The redshirt sophomore made a huge play by snagging the ball with one hand after a bobble and then nearly scoring on the play.

Unfortunately for the Sooners, they couldn’t take advantage of the big play. They settled for a field goal and made the score 10-3.

It has been a big day for the two teams already and it should be exciting to see what happens over the course of the game.
