Patriots honor Tom Brady on day suspension begins

The NFL preseason is over which means two things: the 2016 regular season is just around the corner and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s suspension has officially began. Because of the latter, the team has decided to honor their four-time Super Bowl winning quarterback.

The Patriots lit up Gillette Stadium with a special picture of Brady adorning the giant tower next to the scoreboard. It certainly seems like a great way to honor the player as he will not be permitted to play until Week 5.

Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever take the field in NFL history and he is easily one of the best in the league today. However, he won’t be on the field for the Patriots for the first quarter of the season.

The team will now have to rely on third-year quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo going into the season. He has proven himself worthy throughout the preseason and there is no reason why he won’t do well for the team in Brady’s absence.
