With a wild weekend of college football in the books, the Big Ten Conference has announced its Players of the Week for opening weekend.
Perhaps the least shocking weekly award winner was Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett, who helped lead the Buckeyes offense to a school record of 776 offensive yards. Barrett was responsible for 349 yards through the air, 30 yards on the ground and seven total touchdowns — six passing and one rushing.
As a result, Barrett received Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors.
