The Wisconsin Badgers got their season off to a hot start by upsetting No. 5 LSU in the season-opener at Lambeau Field on Saturday, but it came at a cost.
On Monday, the team announced starting linebacker Chris Orr will be forced to miss the remainder of the season after suffering an injury to his right anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
Orr’s injury occurred on the first series of the game.
Wisconsin announced the news on social media:

Orr, a promising member of the Wisconsin linebacking corp, was a three-star member of Wisconsin’s 2015 class.
The Badgers will look to fill the void on defense while building on the momentum from their season-opening win when they return to action next Saturday against Akron.
