The New England Patriots will already be without quarterback Tom Brady for the first four games of the 2016 season. However, they will also be without a few players for the season opener against the Arizona Cardinals, including tight end Rob Gronkowski.
NFL Media senior analyst Ian Rapoport reported that Gronkowski and offensive linemen Nate Solder and Jonathan Cooper did not travel with the team to Phoenix. They will not play in tomorrow night’s game.
The #Patriots have officially downgraded TE Rob Gronkowski, OL Jonathan Cooper and OT Nate Solder to out. They didn't travel.

This means that Martellus Bennett will have to step up and make a big impact for the Patriots going into Week 1. It is certainly a big blow for the team to deal with this week.
