It hasn’t been a good day for the Clemson Tigers as of late as they are only leading the Troy Trojans 13-10 going into halftime. That score could have been 20-10, but punt returner Ray-Ray McCloud made what could be the blunder of the year.
He seemed to have scored on a 66-yard punt return, but he started to celebrate just a little too early. He tossed the ball down before getting into the endzone and the touchdown for Clemson was reversed in a touchback for Troy.

This just goes to show you, kids. Always celebrate AFTER you score a touchdown and never before.
While he didn’t celebrate before scoring a touchdown on Monday, Florida State running back Dalvin Cook had a situation similar to this as he inexplicably lost the ball as he was walking into the endzone against Ole Miss.
I guess it is not a good time to be a ball carrier in the ACC.
