Following Week 2 of college football season, the Football Writers Association of America and the National Football Foundation unveiled the updated FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.
As you would expect, the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide are once again the clear No. 1 team in the nation, receiving 42 of the 45 first-place votes. Florida State remained No. 2, while Ohio State leapfrogged Clemson for the No. 3 spot.
Florida State (2) and Michigan (1) received the final three first-place votes.
The Big Ten leads all conferences with five teams. The ACC and SEC have three each, and the Big 12 and Pac-12 have two each. The AAC had the other team.
