Larry Fitzgerald expected to retire after 2016 season

Larry Fitzgerald has spent his entire NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals and it looks like he will be ending it with the team that drafted him. The 2016 season is likely going to be his last according to reports on Sunday.

NFL Media senior analyst Ian Rapoport reported that Fitzgerald will likely retire after the 2016 season, his 13th in the league. It will be interesting if this is confirmed at a later time this year.

In 12 years in the league, Larry Fitzgerald has over 13,000 yards and 98 touchdowns. There is no doubt that he will be a Hall of Fame inductee at some point in the future.

Fitzgerald begins what could be his final NFL season tonight when the Cardinals host the New England Patriots.
