Ohio State rents out Oklahoma basketball stadium for pep rally

The Ohio State Buckeyes travel to Oklahoma for a huge match-up against the Sooners this weekend. It certainly seems like they are attempting to take over the city of Norman and the fans look to be traveling pretty well from Columbus.

Ohio State fans will pack out Lloyd Noble Center for what the team is calling a “Buckeye Bash” from 4-5:30 p.m. CT Saturday, before the 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff.

Lloyd Noble Center is the home of the Sooners basketball team, so the Buckeyes will quite literally be invading enemy territory.

The Buckeyes released a statement saying that the team’s mascot, Brutus, the cheerleaders and marching band would all be in attendance at the pregame pep rally. Registration for the event has also already sold out, so I would expect the arena to be packed out in scarlet and silver.

You have to question who at Oklahoma exactly signed off on the Buckeyes being able to rent out their basketball arena for a party just hours before the Sooners face off against Ohio State in a very important game for both teams.
