Week 1 of the 2016-17 NFL regular season comes to an end on Monday night, with the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers serving as the nightcap of a Monday Night Football double-header.
This marks the Rams’ first official game since returning to Los Angeles following a 21-year stay in St. Louis, so they will be looking to make a strong statement by kicking off the season with a big win in their reignited in-state rivalry.
The quarterback battle leaves a lot to be desired — Blaine Gabbert vs. Case Keenum — but the Rams defensive front and star running back Todd Gurley are worth the price of admission.
Los Angeles is a three-point favorite entering the game.
