On Saturday, LSU quarterback Brandon Harris was benched after an ineffective first quarter which saw him go 1-4 for eight yards with two three-and-outs and no first downs. Danny Etling came in for the junior and ended up throwing a 46-yard touchdown on his first drive.
Now, it seems like Harris could be contemplating a transfer out of LSU in the near future.
Harris tweeted to former Tiger Tyron Johnson, who transferred to Oklahoma State earlier this year, about the receiver’s decision to leave LSU and it certainly looked pretty clear that the quarterback could be looking to leave Baton Rouge as well.
After his tweet to Johnson, Harris made his account private.
This was not, however, before someone noticed that he had recently followed a number of coaches, including TCU’s Gary Patterson and Sonny Cumbie, along with Ohio State’s Urban Meyer.

It would seem as if Harris could be looking to transfer out of LSU very soon. With Etling having one more year of eligibility and talented players Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse coming in next season, it might be for the best.
