On Wednesday, it was reported that USC linebacker Osa Masina had been banned from campus while police investigated the rape allegations laid down against him and teammate Don Hill. The linebacker’s career with the Trojans is now in even more jeopardy as he has been formally charged with three felonies.
TMZ Sports reported Thursday that Masina had been charged with one count of first-degree rape and two counts of forcible sodomy in the state of Utah. The alleged incident took place there back in July and was originally reported in early September.
This is despicable news to come out of Pasadena and it is likely that Masina’s career with the Trojans and possibly in general might have just come to an end. This will certainly be a case to follow over the next few weeks.
