Will Corey Clement play on Saturday afternoon against Georgia State? Does the running back need some more time to rest? Those are questions Wisconsin Badgers head coach Paul Chryst answered ahead of today’s noon ET kickoff on the Big Ten Network.
Clement has been dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered last weekend and he was expected to be a game-time decision.
While it looked like Clement could play against the Panthers, Chryst has decided to err on the side of caution and keep the running back on the sideline for Week 3.
#Badgers RB Corey Clement will not play today, per UW.

Through two games this season, Clement has 42 carries for 197 yards and three touchdowns. Unfortunately, he will not get to add to those numbers this weekend against Georgia State.
Despite Clement missing today’s game, the No. 9 Badgers should be able to roll past the winless Panthers as they look to improve to 3-0 on the season.
