Georgia Southern taking donations for Louisiana flood relief

A little over a month ago, the state of Louisiana was rocked by some of the worst flooding the state has seen since Hurricane Katrina. The Georgia Southern Eagles host Louisiana Monroe tonight and they are doing all they can to help out their Sun Belt brothers to the west.

Ahead of their game against the WarHawks today, the Eagles announced they would be taking donations to help the state out in a big way. It is certainly the best way to gain some good karma and it is also the right thing to do.

You have to give it up for the Eagles helping out Louisiana and I am sure they will get repaid in a big way. The Eagles and WarHawks take the field in Statesboro at 6 p.m. EST.
