Lamar Jackson scores 4 first-half TDs, Louisville leads 35-10

Lamar Jackson is living up to the hype and helping his 2016 Heisman campaign thanks to another remarkable half of football that has his No. 10 Louisville Cardinals leading the No. 2 Florida State Seminoles, 35-10, at halftime.

Jackson scored two touchdowns in the first two drives for the Cardinals to give them an early 14-0 lead, and Louisville has not looked back.

Entering the half, the Heisman front-runner has 274 total yards and four touchdowns.

Jackson has rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns in the first half, while completing 11-of-16 passes for 180 yards through the air and an additional score.

If there was any doubt entering Week 3 about Lamar Jackson being the real deal, it is now gone.

Jackson is rolling, the Louisville defense is stepping up and Florida State looks lost. If there is one thing the Seminoles can take some comfort in, however, it is that the team has proven in the past that they can come from behind.

But it’s going to take a titanic effort for the Seminoles to get back in the game, because Jackson is showing no signs of slowing down.
