Video: Georgia Southern LB Ukeme Eligwe snags one-handed interception

Ukeme Eligwe transferred from Florida State to Georgia Southern ahead of the 2015 season and he has already made a pretty big impact for the Eagles in his first year on the field. During Saturday’s game against Sun Belt opponent Louisiana-Monroe, he made an incredible play for his team.

The Eagles were trailing 14-10 late in the first half against the WarHawks when Eligwe made a great play and snagged a one-handed interception. It was his first career interception.

That was an awesome play, but it did not turn into points for the Eagles as they punted the ball away. But it was certainly a terrific play and I am sure they hope Eligwe continues to make plays like that for them going forward.
