Video: West Virginia WR Druw Bowen makes one-handed snag in practice

They say that practice makes perfect and if that is the case, West Virginia wide receiver Druw Bowen is pretty ready for the Mountaineers game against the BYU Cougars Saturday. He made an amazing play during the team’s practice on Thursday and I think Skyler Howard will throw his way more often.

Bowen was lined up against linebacker Xavier Preston when Howard made a back shoulder throw that looked to be uncatchable. However, the true freshman stretched out and made a play on the ball that would have made Odell Beckham Jr. say a few expletives.

YES SIR Druw Bowen! The freshman put in some work today! 💪 pic.twitter.com/w1a5Yvu2Nn

Some have even began calling this the best practice catch of all time.

“We’re talking about practice, man.”

Yes, Allen Iverson, we hear you, but this is pretty amazing. The true freshman has yet to see the field yet for the Mountaineers this year, but it certainly seems like they might want to get him involved in some way.

The Mountaineers and Cougars take to FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST on ESPN2.
