New Georgia kicker wears glasses, trolled after missing FG

The Georgia Bulldogs did not have a lot of luck with their kicking game as William Ham missed two field goals against Missouri. He is 3-7 on the year and today against Ole Miss, they decided to go with a new kicker.

Freshman Rodrigo Blankenship came out on to the field, but he had a pretty unique look. He was actually wearing a thick pair of glasses under his helmet, but he ended up missing the field goal to the right of the posts.

As you would expect, fans took to Twitter and went full savage on Blankenship after his bad miss. Most of them took shots at him wearing “nerd glasses” and then missing what should have been an easy field goal.

Yeah, fans are pretty savage, but you have to feel bad for Blankenship. He is a walk-on that was just trying to prove himself for the Bulldogs.

There isn’t much going right for Georgia right now. They are trailing Ole Miss 31-0 late in the first half. If you want to watch the massacre, it is airing on ESPN right now.
