Penn State kicker Joey Julius, a nose tackle that can kick

Penn State kicker Joey Julius is becoming a cult hero.

Every college football fan — or professional fan for that matter — loves the “fat guy touchdowns” or any athletic feat from jolly, plus-sized players, so it comes as no surprise that the 5-foot-10, 270-pound specialist is a man of the people.

Julius’ star power only increased on Saturday when he nearly took off the head of Michigan’s Jourdan Lewis.

Lewis was returning a kick when this happened:

That moment has been circulating on social media all weekend, but how has Lewis been handling the big hit?

Well, it appears as though the Wolverines player is taking it all in stride. First, he responded to the play by making a light-hearted comment about Michigan star Jabrill Peppers.

Then came the truly remarkable moment.

After taking some time to think about what happened on Saturday, Lewis gave the perfect description of the Nittany Lions kicker. Here it is in his own words:

Beautiful.

Let’s hope that line is used when Julius is inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. At the very least, this guy deserves a Piesman.
