Video: UNC-Asheville G Kevin Vannatta nails trick shot

The 2016-17 college basketball season is just around the corner and it looks like some teams are already preparing for the road to the Final Four in Phoenix next year.

One UNC-Asheville Bulldog, junior guard Kevin Vannatta, seems to have had a little time between classes or after practice and decided to get some extra practice in on Tuesday with a long shot from the balcony of Kimmel Arena.

Check out the play coming to a SportsCenter Top 10 list near you:

Vannatta isn’t just good for long trick shots, however. He showed off his prowess on the court last year for the Bulldogs as he averaged 11.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game last year, while shooting 37.8 percent from three-point range.

It certainly looks like he is trying to emulate Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry with his long range.

Hopefully Vannatta will get the chance to show off this range when he and the Bulldogs open the season on Nov. 11 against VCU.
