The ACC Football Championship Game officially has a new home.
Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the conference championship would be moved to Orlando, Florida. That move was confirmed on Thursday morning by ACC officials. The game will be held at Camping World Stadium, also home of the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl and the Russell Athletic Bowl, on Saturday, Dec. 3 in primetime.

It will be the sixth time the championship game has been played in Florida, with previous stops in Jacksonville and Tampa. The game had found a home in Charlotte, North Carolina in recent years, but the ACC decided to move the game out of North Carolina because of the controversial HB2 law, which has come under fire for allowing discrimination to those in the LGBTQ community.
Each of the past three ACC football champions has gone on to either win the national championship or compete in the College Football Playoff.
