Leonard Fournette expected to play vs. Florida

The LSU Tigers were able to roll over Missouri on Saturday without the services of Leonard Fournette. However, they could see their star running back return to the lineup next weekend when the Tigers travel to Gainesville for a meeting with the SEC rival Florida Gators.

According to reports, Fournette is expected to be healthy enough to play for LSU in the rivalry matchup in Week 6.

This past weekend’s game marked the second game junior running back has missed this season due to injury; he also missed a game against Jacksonville State.

This season, Fournette has recorded 386 yards and two touchdowns in three appearances.

Florida and Tennessee are scheduled for a noon ET kickoff at Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 8 as the Gators look for their fifth win of the year and the Tigers look for win four.
