When will the AP Top 25 Poll be released?

When will the AP Top 25 Poll for Week 7 of the 2016 college football season be released? Well, thanks to Hurricane Matthew this weekend, we will have to wait until Monday.

Generally released at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoons, the release of this week’s poll has been delayed after the SEC clash between the Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks was pushed to Sunday in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.

Georgia vs. South Carolina is now set for Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Neither Georgia nor South Carolina are ranked at this time, but the Bulldogs are knocking on the door of the top 25 after receiving votes last weekend. A dominant win over the Gamecocks could be all Kirby Smart’s team needs to return to the rankings next week.

With the change of plans, the AP Top 25 will now be released at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
