Another wild weekend of college football is in the books, so it’s time to see just how much of a shake up there was in the rankings. On Monday afternoon, the USA Today Coaches Poll gave us an idea of the college landscape moving forward.
As expected, the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide remained the No. 1 team in the nation.
The Ohio State Buckeyes and Clemson Tigers, who round out the top three, were the only other teams to receive first-place votes in the latest poll.
Arizona State is this week’s biggest riser, moving up 12 spots to earn the No. 24 ranking.
Houston, meanwhile, is the biggest faller after a loss to Navy. The Cougars went from the top ten to the No. 12 spot.
