Florida’s Luke Del Rio to start Saturday vs. Missouri

Florida football fans are getting the good news they have been waiting for.

On Wednesday, Gators head coach Jim McElwain confirmed quarterback Luke Del Rio will return to the starting lineup on Saturday against the Missouri Tigers.

Del Rio has missed Florida’s last two games — one win and a loss — due to a knee injury suffered in a Week 3 win over North Texas. When healthy, Del Rio has thrown for 762 yards and six touchdowns.

Kickoff between the Gators and Tigers is set for 4 p.m. ET in Gainesville on the SEC Network.
