Video: Tennessee releases tribute to Peyton Manning

Oh, the power of the voice over and rack focus. The University of Tennessee has released a touching tribute to their most successful football alumni, quarterback Peyton Manning.

With locker room footage (but no talk!) from Peyton’s playing days with the Volunteers, and some action shots of Peyton Manning running a lot faster than I think anyone remembers, the trip is a nice stroll down memory lane. Check it out:

There has been no shortage of love for Manning since his retirement. He’s been on several commercials for different products and has kept involved in football by appearing a various NFL training camps this offseason.

In his time at Tennessee, Manning led the Volunteers to an SEC and finished second in Heisman voting his senior year. His brothers, Eli and Cooper, and his father Archie, all attended SEC rival Ole Miss.

Manning  will be honored at halftime during today’s game against Alabama.
