Clemson’s Wayne Gallman ‘ready to play’ against Florida State

The Clemson Tigers are receiving some good news ahead of this weekend’s clash against Florida State.

On Monday, star running back Wayne Gallman met with the media and announced he is “ready to play” in Saturday’s game against the Seminoles at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Gallman has been going through concussion protocol after a devastating hit to the head.

When recalling the hit, Gallman said it was like waking up from a dream.

“I just remember catching the ball, making the move, going north, and after that I don’t remember anything at all until I got back to the training room,” Gallman said. “It was like I went to sleep and woke up from a dream. I saw video of myself walking off and I don’t even remember that.”

This season, Gallman has recorded 489 yards and five touchdowns.

Kickoff between the No. 3 Tigers and No. 12 Seminoles on Saturday is set for 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
