Another wild weekend of college football is in the books, so it’s time to see just how much of a shake up there was in the rankings. After three top four teams fell, there was sure to be some changes.
On Sunday afternoon, the USA Today Coaches Poll gave us an idea of the college landscape moving forward.
As expected, the Alabama Crimson Tide remained the No. 1 team in the nation, earning all 63 first-place votes. Ohio State and Louisville jumped up three spots each to round out the top three.
This week’s biggest riser was USC, who upended then No. 4 Washington. The Trojans picked up seven spots to No. 19.
On the flip side, the North Carolina Tar Heels fell eleven spots to No. 24.
Virginia Tech and Baylor dropped out.
