Auburn’s Sean White aggravated shoulder vs. Georgia, didn’t tell coaches

The Auburn Tigers watched their SEC West title hopes come to an end on Saturday when they fell to the Georgia Bulldogs. Early in the game, quarterback Sean White aggravated his shoulder injury.

However, the redshirt sophomore said he didn’t necessarily let the coaches know the extent of his injury.

“A guy came on a blitz or something,” White said, via “(He) hit me and (the ball) came free after I threw the ball and just kind of aggravated something. … I think I could have done a better job letting the coaches know. I wanted to play with my team and I wanted to try to win.

Auburn tough guy Sean White on playing with pain:

'I could have done a better job just letting them know how bad it was really hurting me'

“I wanted to win, I wanted to be out there playing. I don’t know if I really let them know how bad it was hurting me. So, that’s on me, and I have to do a better job of just being honest, because maybe the best chance to win might be somebody else if I’m not healthy enough,” he said, via the school’s official website.

White will spend the week trying to get back to 100 percent for this weekend’s game against Alabama A&M.
