La Salle basketball players think they would beat LeBron one-on-one

The La Salle basketball team is set to take the court for its second game of the season on Tuesday night and the athletic department decided to have a little bit of fun before the season kicks into full swing.

La Salle interviewed four players — Demetrius Henry, Johnny Shuler, Jordan Price and Pookie Powell — for a Q&A session in the media guide.

The players were asked about superstitions and their teammates habits, while also being asked whether they believe they would be able to take down NBA star LeBron James in a one-on-one basketball game.

Surprisingly, all four players believed they would take down one of the best players in the world.

Hey, at least La Salle will not be lacking in the confidence department this season.

The Explorers continue their 2016-17 campaign on Tuesday night at home against the Deleware Fightin’ Blue Hens.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET.
