The Dayton basketball team received a surprise when it arrived to Dayton International Airport this week for a trip to Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide Tuesday night.
When the Flyers arrived at the airport, they quickly learned they would be making the trip on board the campaign plane of Hillary Clinton. John Boyle of the Dayton Daily News says the team was randomly assigned the plane from a charter company.
Talk about some good luck.

And that good luck carried over onto the court on Tuesday night.
Unlike Clinton, Dayton came away victorious, topping the Crimson Tide 77-72 to advance to 2-0 on the season.
The Flyers return to action on Saturday afternoon against Saint Mary’s.
