LSU running back Leonard Fournette is widely regarded as one of the top players in the country.
Coming into the season, Fournette was viewed as a first-round lock in the 2017 NFL Draft. However, after a disappointing year that has been plagued by injuries, it looks like the star rusher has yet to make up his mind regarding whether he will go pro.
In fact, Fournette appears to be weighing a return to LSU.
“At the end of the day, nobody wants to leave college. Nobody’s ready for the real world. I know I’m not, to be honest,” Fournette said, via SEC Country. “So I have to wait and see when we talk to Coach [Ed Orgeron].”
Last year, a number of LSU underclassmen who were expected to enter the draft decided to return to school for another year.
Could the Tigers be ready to pull off a surprise yet again?
Only time will tell, but we would have to imagine Fournette will ultimately decide to declare for the 2017 NFL Draft.
