Miami, Texas A&M reportedly close to finalizing future home-and-home

The Miami Hurricanes continue to load their future non-conference schedules.

After scheduling games with LSU and Florida, the Hurricanes are reportedly close to adding another SEC foe.

According to a report from Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, “UM is finalizing a deal to play a home-and-home football series with Texas A&M in 2022 and 2023.”

The two teams have faced off three times prior, with Texas A&M holding a 2-1 edge.

No dates have been set.

If the home-and-home series does become a reality, it would severely bolster the non-conference schedules for Miami and Texas A&M by adding another Power Five opponent. It’s all about building a championship resume.
