There is no word on how the complaint will keep Pineiro from participating in this weekend’s big game against the LSU Tigers, which was re-scheduled for Saturday night after Hurricane Matthew forced a delay earlier this year.
According to 247Sports’ Thomas Goldkamp, Florida head coach Jim McElwain said Pineiro’s status should not be impacted for the game, but it is unclear whether he was aware of the complaint at the time of Goldkamp’s question.
I asked Jim McElwain yesterday if he'd be available to play and he said yes. May have been unaware. https://t.co/MPvflznGOM
