Kansas cheerleader suspended after racist photo on social media

One Kansas cheerleader has landed in hot water after a racist photo was shared on her Snapchat account.

Lili Gagin, a sophomore cheerleader, was suspended by the University of Kansas after a photo that read “KKK Go Trump” began to circulate.

The three men in the photo were also members of the Kansas cheerleading squad but have yet to be suspended.

Right now we are doing an investigation and we have suspended the young lady whose account it was on until we finish the investigation,” said associate athletic director Jim Marchiony.

Kansas released the following statement on the issue:

“Unacceptable. She is suspended from cheering pending formal investigation. This behavior won’t be tolerated. Will be dealt with appropriately.”

Of course, Gagin denied any wrongdoing and went with the easy “I was hacked” defense.

Protect your social media accounts, folks. And don’t send racist crap.
