In case we needed a fresh reminder that it was rivalry weekend, the North Carolina Tar Heels and North Carolina State Wolfpack provided just that on Friday afternoon.
After what initially appeared to be a fumble, a scuffle ensued and players from both teams cleared the benches.
During the brief mayhem, UNC’s Jalen Dalton was ejected for throwing a punch.

Ultimately, the play was ruled an incomplete pass.
North Carolina State currently leads the Tar heels, 21-7, as we approach the end of the first half.
