Thus far, “The Game” has been everything it was billed to be: a low-scoring, defensive struggle.
Ohio State missed a field goal earlier in the game, Michigan made one, and that was it. Neither team has made any real threats in the red zone. If the trend continues, Ohio State might not need to.
They just took a 7-3 lead on an interception returned for a touchdown.

NBA champion and Ohio State fan LeBron James, who is on the sideline, expressed himself with the ultimate and most visceral form of excitement after the score.
With the first half winding down, Michigan is in there two-minute offense and trying to get some points before the half. They have all three time outs and are on the opponents end of the field.
The second half will likely be more of the same.
Both of these teams have made their mark on defense, while their offenses have struggled against top-flight opposition and have done just enough to win some close battles. “The Game” has been a thrilling defensive battle so far.
