Video: Purdue’s Bilal Marshall channels inner Odell Beckham Jr.

One-handed catches have always thrilled audiences, but it took Odell Beckham Jr. to raise it to an art form. It’s something that players practice now; late nights pulling them in from a Juggs machine.

In this weekends action, Purdue wide receiver Bilal Marshall saw the fruits of all that late night labor when he pulled in one of the best catches of the season against Indiana.

Even better is the way he reacted to his catch: cool as a cucumber. With a “been here before” attitude, Marshall gets up from the turf, calmly high fives a teammate and moves on to the next play.

Marshall stands tall at 6-foot-3, allowing him the height advantage need to leap over the top of defensive backs and make these kind of highlight reel snatches.

The Miami, Florida native is a senior on this Boilermaker squad and will be looking to make a name for himself in the NFL.

Plays like this will help.
