Like many college football fans this weekend, Cleveland Cavaliers stars LeBron James, JR Smith, Kevin Love and others were in attendance for the 2016 instant classic edition of “The Game” between Ohio State and Michigan.
During the game, Smith and James took to the UNINTERRUPTED Twitter account to pose a very important question to the NCAA.
Since the guys play professional basketball and never went to college, do they still have eligibility?
Because if they do, LeBron really wants to suit up for the Buckeyes.
“I’m trying to play a snap for the Ohio State Buckeyes, straight up,” LeBron said.

Ohio State is firmly in the College Football Playoff with the No. 2 ranking in the nation, but could you imagine the team adding a big threat like the 6-foot-8 James on the outside in the endzone?
Yeah, that’d be frightening.
After all, LeBron was one of the top wide receiver recruits in the nation during his time at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s High School, before going to the NBA.
Sure, it’ll never happen, but we can’t deny we’d like to see how LeBron would do for at least one play.
