Clemson football is a ‘fraud,’ per FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd

The Clemson football program is once again in position to make a run in the College Football Playoff. On Saturday, the Tigers take on the Virginia Tech Hokies in the ACC Championship game.

With a win, Clemson is firmly in college football’s final four, but just how far could they go?

Well, according to FOX Sports radio host Colin Cowherd, Clemson fans shouldn’t be too comfortable because the team “is going to get their ears boxed by whoever they play.”

Cowherd noted that he believes the team is a “fraud,” which should have three or four losses.

“Clemson’s a fraud. Clemson is going to get their ears boxed by whoever they play. They should have three losses, maybe four. I don’t buy into Clemson,’ Cowherd said.

“They’re the New York Giants of college football. I don’t care what their record is. I don’t buy into them. And I had Clemson in the final four, so I should be rooting for them. I got no dog in the fight here. I think USC is the second-best team in the country and Vegas agrees.”

Clemson will have the chance to prove Cowherd wrong in the coming weeks.
