Everyone had some comments regarding the final College Football Playoff rankings of the season, especially when it came to the top teams in the Big Ten.
Ohio State made the playoff despite not playing in the conference championship, Penn State missed out even with a win over Ohio State and the Big Ten title, while Michigan — which handily beat the Nittany Lions earlier in the season — sat one spot behind Penn State.
While Peppers could be bitter that his team is sitting behind a team they took to the woodshed, he provided a great take on the entire situation, praising Penn State for taking care of business when they had to.
Peppers commented on the ranking in a series of tweets.
We take care of business, we're in. We don't, we're not..& we didn't. Can't knock the teams that did.

Even though we beat PSU handedly, We were their last lost, early in the season. They didn't lose again, beat OSU and Iowa & won the Ship.

I think the committee knows we are better, they just can't knock what they've turned their season into. It's a slippery slope.

Shoutout to the Guys at PSU! Y'all did y'all thing, hold it down in the Rose!

Thus.. Us being #6 behind PSU makes sense.

Even though the missed the playoff, both teams will end their season with an exciting matchup.
Penn State will face USC in the Rose Bowl, while Michigan meets Florida State in the Orange Bowl.
