Former Alabama quarterback Blake Barnett has a new home.
After losing the starting quarterback job to Jalen Hurts and transferring from Alabama earlier this year, Barnett enrolled at Palomar Junior College in California with the hopes of exploiting a NCAA loophole which would allow him to play next season.
Barnett reportedly courted a number of offers from Pac-12 programs like Oregon and Washington State, before announcing late Monday night he was committing to Arizona State.
The four-star signal-caller announced his new home on Twitter with a photo celebrating Arizona State head coach Todd Graham’s birthday, along with offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey and wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator Jay Norvell.
