Matt Rhule broke the hearts of Temple fans when it was announced that he would be leaving the Owls to accept the head coaching job at Baylor. However, he wanted to make sure that he let everyone know his time in Philadelphia was not unappreciated.
On Wednesday, Rhule took out a full-page ad in the Philadelphia Inquirer to thank Temple fans for their support while he was leading the team.

That’s a pretty great gesture.
And Temple fans should be thankful for Rhule, too. After all, he did lead the team to back-to-back division titles before winning the AAC championship this season.
Now, he is faced with the tough task of turning around the Baylor football program.
