No one seems to know what is going on with Lane Kiffin.
Early Thursday morning, reports began to circulate that the Houston football team has named the Alabama Crimson Tide offensive coordinator as its next head coach.
However, those reports were quickly disputed by a number of other college football insiders.

Kiffin has reportedly been a favorite to land at Houston since Tom Herman bolted across Texas for greener pastures with the Longhorns, but it looks like there is still some work the Cougars have to do before settling on a replacement.
There are also reports that USF has a strong interest in Kiffin and, interestingly enough, former Texas coach Charlie Strong, who was replaced by Herman.
Let the coaching carousel rumors continue to swirl.
