It looks like Charlie Strong won’t be out of work for long.
After being fired by the Texas Longhorns, Strong’s name was floated around some of the job openings in the Group of Five. On Sunday morning, a report from Pete Thamel of Sports Illustrated indicates Strong is set to become the next head coach of the USF Bulls.
Strong and USF officials are reportedly closing in on a five-year deal.
