One of the top quarterback prospects in college football is set to make the leap to the pros.
On Monday, Notre Dame star DeShone Kizer took to Twitter to announce he would be forgoing his final year of college eligibility to declare for the 2017 NFL Draft.
Kizer, a junior, released a lengthy statement to announce his decision.

In 2016, Kizer threw for 2,925 yards, 26 touchdowns and nine interceptions. During his career in South Bend, Kizer totaled 5,809 yards through the air, 47 touchdowns and 19 interceptions.
In what is a very weak senior quarterback class, Kizer could very well hear his name called in the first round of the 2017 draft.
