Michigan football player says Jim Harbaugh is going nowhere

As soon as the Los Angeles Rams fired head coach Jeff Fisher, Michigan football fans were stuck listening to the swirling rumors that head coach Jim Harbaugh could potentially leave Ann Arbor for the West Coast.

While the rumors have to be exhausting, Wolverines fans should find some comfort in recent comments by Michigan defensive lineman Chase Winovich.

As the Harbaugh-Rams discussion continues to circulate, Winovich sent out a tweet saying Harbaugh won’t be going anywhere.

His reasoning: Harbaugh can’t be bought out and the players won’t let him.

It’s great that Harbaugh has gained his players’ confidence like this, but we’ve also seen plenty of coaches bolt as soon as zeroes are added to their paycheck.

Of course, Harbaugh could have directly told his team that he doesn’t plan on leaving, but until the Rams name their next head coach we will be stuck listening to the possibility of “Hollywood Harbaugh.”
