Colorado football coach Mike MacIntyre led an incredible turnaround for the Buffaloes program in 2016 which had the team as legitimate contenders in the Pac-12, finishing the year with a 10-3 record and South Division title.
The Buffaloes are now set to face off against Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 29 — Colorado’s first bowl game since 2007 — and that has led to MacIntyre living up to a promise he made to his former players.
MacIntyre promised players that came through his program he would buy their bowl tickets when Colorado finally returns to the postseason, so it was time to come through.

Whata great gesture.
It’s been incredible to see the Colorado turnaround this season and with MacIntyre keeping former players involved in the program, it looks like he has done his part in changing the culture in Boulder while setting himself up for even further success in the future.
