Leading the way on offense was Sam Houston State quarterback Jermiah Briscoe and Fordham running back Chase Edmonds. Overall, the rosters were dominated by traditional FCS powerhouses North Dakota State and Eastern Washington, despite the programs not reaching the same level of success this year.
