UFC on FOX 22 was an overwhelming success.
The viewership numbers for Saturday night’s event in Sacramento, Calif. were released this week and millions of viewers tuned in for the main event between strawweight contenders Michelle Waterson and Paige VanZant.
According to the official numbers, a whopping 4.8 million viewers tuned in for the UFC on FOX 22 headliner.
The numbers are up 14 percent from last December’s UFC on FOX event which drew 2.781 million viewers. while becoming FOX’s most-watched UFC event since April of 2013 (3,742,000).
